Technological advances in plastics and chemical compounds have enabled rotomolded kayaks to be made thinner, yet stronger, lighter, and far better quality than in years past.  No more warping or building a "memory".  Fading is a thing of the past as all our boats have UV protection bonded into the polyethylene.  No more "oil canning".

Unfortunately we have seen quality in the kayaking industry take a turn downward in trade for cheaper, less expensive brands. Don't sacrifice quality for cheap. We're not a box store, therefore we know our products and what we're talking about. Our boat lines are made in North America or Europe where quality control standards are exceptionally high.  No child labor is involved in the production of our brands.

Kayaks we carry are first run, quality boats.  "Factory Blems" are a cosmetic only defect in the molding of a boat and not a defect in its seaworthiness. This does not apply to Delta Kayaks as they are created with only virgin materials and do not allow factory blems.

DELTA kayaks are of thermoformed composite materials.  Unlike other thermoformed kayaks in the industry, only virgin materials are used in their production.  Any excess material is cut off and recycled to another company that uses it to make plastic goods such as toys, and plastic furniture. Any boat not to standards is destroyed and remade.
