This is great fun!
Ive been looking for an effective sail for my kayak that doesn't limit me to a mast. I don't want to have to stow a stick someplace and haven't found anything effecive yet. That was until I foud the WindPaddle. What a great option for paddling, or kites, or umbrellas. Great new accessory and toy for my kayak. My GPS clocked me at 11 mph at one point. Here's what won me over:
- Portable. No No need to drill holes in you boat, as it just clips onto your deck rigging. The sail lines are fully adjustable.
- Lightweight - 13 oz. and folds down just like a windshield visor to a 15" diameter.
- Stores neatly under my deck bungees.
- Easy to set up and take down.
- Low center of gravity.
- Did not affect the boat stability.
- Great for long open crossings.
