Discover SCUBA Diving
Introductory program
Safely try scuba diving for a day in both pool and fresh water dive sites through our beginner program. While this does not earn a certification, it’s a good way to experience diving and see if it is for you. This time can be credited towards your Open Water Diver certification if you decide to take it forward.
Choose to dive at either Blue Grotto or Devil’s Den freshwater springs for a real taste of what diving has to offer.
Includes all gear and entrance fees - just bring a swimsuit and towel.

Open Water Diver
SCUBA certification
You start with the online education system that will guide you through the theoretical side of scuba diving. If you prefer a book-in-hand approach, we can teach this part in a more traditional class setting instead.
Once you have completed the coursework, we begin your in-water training in the pool. Learn about the equipment and techniques divers use to comfortably and safely swim underwater.
Finally complete four open water dives at Blue Grotto or Devil's Den freshwater springs, where you will demonstrate your newly acquired skills while exploring the sites.
Includes all gear, instruction materials (book & video or e-learning), trained instructor, certification card, park fees.

Open Water Referral
For divers who have completed all knowledge development and confined water training.
Referral program for those who can only spend two or three days with us.
If you don’t live in the Crystal River area, you can complete the knowledge development and confined water training where you live. Afterwards visit us for the open water dives portion. Demonstrate your newly acquired skills over 2 days (2 dives a day) at Devil's Den and Blue Grotto, earning your SCUBA certification in our area's beautiful freshwater springs.
Ocean dives can be arranged for an additional cost.
If the diver needs to complete their confined water training as well, an extra 1-2 days is required.
Includes all gear, trained instructor, certification card, park entrance fees.

Further Training
Refresher Course
Haven't been diving recently? This course is perfect to brush up on your diving skills, and is tailored to your needs. Review the theoretical side to diving with the online course, and then get back in the water under the guidance of our trained instructor. Choose to dive at either Rainbow River, Devil’s Den, or Blue Grotto freshwater springs to further enjoy your time with us.
