How GI Bill® Reimbursement Works

Step 1: Confirm eligibility and remaining benefits. Review your VA education benefit eligibility and apply if needed. Bring or download your current VA statement of benefits.

Step 2: Call our dive team before enrolling. Tell our dive team which NAUI certification or professional license you want. We will confirm the available path, exam, current fees, and required documentation.

Step 3: Complete the applicable exam and keep your records. Pay the applicable fee and retain the receipt along with the test results, license, or certification issued for your completed exam.

Step 4: Submit the reimbursement request. We provide the NAUI testing documents and printed instructions. Submit the required records through the VA licensing and certification reimbursement process using the online request or VA Form 22-0803.

VA decides eligibility, reimbursement, entitlement charges, and processing time. Review NAUI's current GI Bill® reimbursement details and call our dive team before enrolling so the certification path and paperwork are clear from the start.
